One of our Star Magnolias started to bloom late last week. We have two of these in our backyard.
They are beautiful Spring bloomers, and I hope that these blooms will last a couple of weeks barring any heavy-duty rain storms. I planted them for their wonderful fragrance. They have a light smell of lemons that will carry about twenty feet with an easy breeze.
