Here is a photograph of some of our ripe apricots. These are Moorpark apricots.
The apricots ripened around June 4th. They taste great! Very sweet and juicy. The fruit are pretty small -- about the size of a small plum.
The Blenheim tree only ended up with 2 fruit!!! However, the Moorpark has about 25 that are in the process of ripening.
The Blenheim started with a lot of fruit, but they dropped to the ground over time with windstorms, rain, June drop, etc. I thinned both trees earlier in the year to try to minimize the risk that they would expend too much energy this year and not set fruit next year.
